An experienced Registered Nurse based in Wangaratta providing reliable locum nursing support for GP clinics. With extensive clinical and education experience, I offer flexible nursing assistance to help practices maintain smooth and safe patient care when additional support is needed.
Clinics are welcome to arrange a time to meet, discuss your practice needs, and establish a working relationship. This allows orientation to your clinic systems, procedures, and team so that reliable nursing support is available when required. Having a nurse familiar with your practice ensures continuity of care during staff sick leave, annual leave, busy periods, or scheduled absences.

Experience
Registered since 2010 I bring current broad and a well-rounded nursing background across clinical care, leadership, and education.
Currently working one day per week in a Day Procedure Unit providing clinical nursing care
Previous experience in
surgical nursing and medical nursing
Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) experience in aged care
District Nursing
13 years teaching the Diploma of Nursing, including:
Nursing education and clinical skills training
Course management and compliance
Assessment development
Digital learning resource development
Professional Development
Ongoing education ensures practice aligned with current healthcare standards.
Recently completed paediatric continence training through the Continence Foundation of Australia
Completed paediatric sleep training day with a nursing sleep consultant
Complete 1-2 Heart Foundation Australia webinars annually
Complete annual competency (compulsory and optional) for clinical employment
Currently enrolling to complete the Accredited Nurse Immuniser course
